My work is an exploration of texture and the beauty of imperfection. Using a variety of mediums—acrylic, oil, ink, charcoal—typically in neutrals and earth tones, I draw inspiration from finding beauty in the organic, textural, and the unrefined. I paint on a variety of substrates— canvas, linen, and other textural materials— as I believe that texture not only adds visual interest but also evokes a tactile connection. As someone with a background in interior design, my artistry has become an essential avenue for me to express my creativity, to experiment, and to self-express, allowing each piece to evolve in its own direction.
